7 Prophecy 1933: William Branham

COMMENTS OF PASTOR ELIE DOUZAN

Title: A PROPHET IN THE END TIMES

In the Bible, God has always given His Message to people around the world by the prophet of age. He spoke to Moses from a burning bush and gave him the commission to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt. The visible Pillar of Fire and other signs were given to confirm the ministry of Moses. John the Baptist brought a Message to prepare the world for the coming of the Messiah. When John baptized the Lord Jesus in the Jordan, a voice from heaven confirmed the commission he had received to present the Lamb of God: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. "Years later, the Voice of the Lord was heard again speaking to a prophet when He spoke to Paul by a blinding light, giving it later commission to churches in order. At no time, either in the Old Testament or in the New, God has spoken to His people through a denominational system or a religious organization. He always talked to people by a man: His prophet. And he confirmed those prophets through supernatural signs.
But what about our day? Does God always reveal His Word to the prophets? Are there still supernatural signs? Would God send in this world a prophet of modern times? The answer is clear: "Yes!"

But how will we know when a prophet appear? What does it look like? How will it be? What sign will he give to us? Which passages of Scripture does it accomplish?
The prophets of old days were valiant men of God who were not afraid to oppose the religious organizations. And, therefore, they were almost insulted by the clergy. Elijah challenged religious organizations of his time, asking them what God was offering to have respect theirs or hers. They Cried out. They prophesied. They jumped at the altar. They made incisions with swords. But God did not listen to them. Elijah looked up to heaven and said: "Let it be known today that you are God in Israel, that I am your servant and I have done all these things at your word." Then he claimed that fire falls from heaven to consume the offering. The prophet Micah opposed the king of Israel and to all the clergy, when he rebuked Zedekiah, the high priest, to have prophesied a lie. The priest struck him on the cheek, and the king imprisoned him for telling the truth. Even the Lord Jesus was so hated by the religious organizations of His day, they crucified Him alongside the most infamous criminals. If history holds, a prophet would be hated by the current denominational system, and we would label him as heretical, false prophet, or worse. But God would stand alongside his servant.

Even If there was a prophet in modern times, how he would be accepted by the Catholic Church? by the Baptist Church? by the Lutherian Church? by any other denominational churches?

The Lord Jesus gave to all who believe in him the mandate: "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and the sick will be healed "(Mark 16.17-18). Is this passage of Scripture relevant today? If it is no longer valid, since when are the Words of the Lord-They outdated? On one end to the other of the Bible, the prophets were able to heal the sick, cast out demons and perform miracles. Moses placed the brazen serpent before the people of Israel to heal the bite of poisonous snakes (Numbers 21.9). Naaman, a powerful Syrian, came to Elisha to be healed of leprosy (II Kings 5.9). When a young man fell to his death from the top floor window, the apostle Paul took him in his arms and brought his dead body to life (Acts 20.10). We know that about three and half years of the life of our Lord Jesus, but during these years he never stopped to heal the sick. The blind received sight. The lepers were healed. The deaf heard again. The lame walked. Every sickness was healed (Matthew 4.23).
God has not only confirmed His prophets to heal. Even the best kept secrets of the heart were revealed to these men of God. King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream disturbing, but do not remember. The prophet Daniel made known to the King the dream that he had and prophecy connected with it (Daniel 2.28). When the queen of Sheba stood before Solomon, there was nothing that he knew not explain. Nothing remained hidden to Solomon when the queen of Sheba stood before him. He was so filled with the Spirit that he answered the questions she had in her heart before she's asked him (I Kings 10.3). Elisha told the king of Israel all the plans of the king of Syria, even the words he spoke privately in his bedroom (II Kings 6:12).

By its actions, the Lord Jesus has often shown that this spirit of discernment was the Spirit of Christ. He discerned the nature of Nathanael, when He said, "Behold an Israelite in whom is no guile!" And Jesus said unto Nathanael where he was when Philip had spoken of the Messiah (John 1.48). When Nathanael saw that Jesus knew his heart, he immediately recognized him as the Christ. The first time he saw Peter, he said to him the name of his father, Jonah (John 1.42). Then Peter left everything and followed Jesus for the rest of his life. Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well and said his past sins. Immediately, the woman said, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet" (John 4:19). These three people were from different backgrounds, yet they immediately recognized Jesus when He manifested the gift of discernment.
Did this gift disappear when the last page of the Bible was written? If these signs are written so clearly in the Bible, where are they today? A prophet of modern times would certainly be confirmed by miracles. Did God forget His people? Is He still able to heal the sick? Does He always talk through His prophets? Did One of these prophets see our day early?

The promise of a prophet in the last days

The very last words written in the Old Testament is a promise: "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the day of the Lord comes, that great and terrible day. He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse "(Malachi 4.5-6).
The day of the Lord, that great and dreadful day has yet to come, so we sincerely should expect the prophet Elijah. In the Bible, the prophets did not come to the traditional religious organizations. They came to a chosen few people. What would happened if the prophet of Malachi 4 came, and have missed him? What would happen if it was like the prophets of old days, and only a handful of people recognize it? If that prophet must return in the last days, how will we recognize him? We can clearly see the answer in the scriptures. He will have the nature of a prophet. He will know the secrets of the heart. It will accomplish miracles. Religious organizations will try to discredit him. But there will be a few selected people who will recognize him as the messenger promised for that day.

When Elijah will come, how will we know it? What are the characteristics that allow us to recognize him?

Elijah was a man of the desert. Great signs and miracles accompanied his ministry. He preached against the sins of his time. He preached especially against the immorality of Queen Jezebel. When Elijah was taken to heaven in a chariot of fire, his spirit came upon Elisha. Great signs and wonders marked the ministry of Elisha, and he also preached against the sins of the world. The two prophets stood alone against religious organizations of their time. Hundreds of years later, the same spirit returned to the earth in John the Baptist. The prophet Malachi predicted that Elijah would return to present the Lord: Behold I will send my messenger, he shall prepare the way before me (Malachi 3.1).
John the
Baptist was faithful to himself when he addressed a call to repentance to God's children. Like Elijah, he preached against the king and religious organizations of his time. The Lord Jesus confirmed that John the Baptist was the prophet Malachi 3 in the Gospel of Matthew (11.10): "For this is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, to prepare thy way before thee "Luke 1.17 says that the spirit of Elijah was to be John the Baptist: he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of fathers to the children ... But notice that the second part of Malachi 4 had yet to be accomplished: ... and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. This portion of Scripture will be fulfilled before the Second Coming of Christ. Two thousand years after John the Baptist, the time has come for the spirit of Elijah to return to earth.
That day has arrived! In our age, we have seen the spirit of Elijah back. He challenged the current denominational system. He spoke out against the sins of the world. He made countless signs and wonders. He preached the Bible, word for word, from Genesis to the Apocalypse. The prophet of Malachi 4 came as promised, and he brought a message from the throne of Almighty God. This prophet named William M. Branham. We call him "Brother Branham." "I liked William Branham, I believe He is a prophet of God." Oral Roberts, world renowned evangelist and founder of Oral Roberts University.
"William Branham, the prophet of God came among us and showed us in the twentieth century, exactly the same things as those that were shown to us in the Gospels. [...] God has visited His people as a great prophet has appeared among us. "
Dr. TL Osborn, Pentecostal evangelist and accomplished author.
"Before praying for someone, he gave him accurate information about their illnesses, and also information on his life - the place where he lived, his activities, his actions - even into his childhood. During all the years I was with him, Branham has not made a single mistake in pronouncing the word of knowledge. Representing thousands of cases I've seen. " Ern Baxter, evangelist, organizer of the Branham campaigns for seven years, and one of the founding leaders of the British New Church Movement.
Never since the Lord Jesus Christ walked on this earth, a man has influenced the world in such a profound way. From a modest beginning life in a shack in one piece, in the hills of Kentucky to Amarillo, Texas, where the Lord called him home, his life was constantly marked by supernatural events. Under the direction of the Angel of the Lord in 1946, the Ministry of Branham produces a spark that triggered a period of great healing revivals that swept across America and the world. To date, William Branham is recognized by some Christian historians as the "father" and "leader" of the healing revival of the 50s.This revival has transformed the Pentecostal church and given the rise in the charismatic movement, which influence is now on almost Protestant denominations. However, as expected, the denominations do not reflect the teachings of Brother Branham and deny his commission.
Wherever
Brother Branham went, God proved that he was the prophet sent to our generation. Like Job, the Lord spoke to him in a whirlwind. Like Moses, we saw the Pillar of Fire lead him. As Micah, he was insulted by the clergy. As Elijah was a man who loved the wilderness. Like Jeremiah, he received his commission of an Angel. Like Daniel, he had visions of the future. As the Lord Jesus, he knew the secrets of the heart. And like Paul, he healed the sick. The Lord has visited His people again by a prophet. At the darkest time in history when morality has sunk into depths never seen before and where weapons of mass destruction are a threat on the horizon, a humble man has been sent from the presence of God to call a moribund race to repentance.

THE BEGINNING

"When I was born in a small shack there in Kentucky, an angel of the Lord came through the window and stood there. It was a Pillar of Fire. "
Dawn had just pierce the darkness of this fresh April sky. The unique wooden window opened to let in the morning light in the tiny shack in one piece. A robin standing near the window seemed particularly excited that morning and sang lustily. Inside the shack, the young Charles Branham put his hands in his overalls brand new and looked at his wife aged 15. "We call him William," said the father. A supernatural light came through the window. Light moved into the room and stood over the bed where the infant was. This same Light that brought out of Egypt the Hebrew children. This same Light that had met Paul on the road to Damascus. And it was this light who would now lead this child to call the Bride of Christ out of the world. This Light was none other than the Angel of the Lord, the Pillar of Fire: It was once appeared to man.
And there, in that little log shack on the morning of April 6, the midwife opened the window to let in the light for Mom and Dad can see how I was. Then a light about the size of a pillow came whirling through the window. She described a circle around where I was and it came down on the bed. Several mountain men stood there. They wept.
The modest home was in the hills of southern Kentucky, near the small town of Burkesville. It was April 6, 1909. The baby was the first of ten children ever born from Charles and Ella Branham.
Only a few years later, the Angel of the Lord again visited the young William Branham.
He was a child when the angel spoke to him first, saying he was going to live and spend his life near a city called New Albany. He entered the house and told his mother what had happened. Like any mother, not giving much importance to what he says, she put him to bed to calm his young nerves. Two years later, his family moved to Jeffersonville, Indiana, only a few kilometers of New Albany, a town in southern Indiana.
A few years later, the angel spoke again to the young prophet. It was a quiet day in September, and the warm sun shining through the colorful autumn leaves. The boy walked with a limp, while carrying two buckets of water on the trail. He had an ear of corn attached to his injured toe, to avoid its contact with the earth. He sat down to rest in the shade of a large poplar. Tears streamed down his face as he wept over his misfortune: his friends were having fun to fish in the pond of the corner, and was sentenced to him to carry water for his father. Suddenly the wind began to swirl in the tree above him. He wiped his eyes and stood up. He heard the sound of the leaves that fluttered in the wind ... but there was no wind. He looked up and, halfway up the poplar, there was something that whirled the dry leaves.
Suddenly a voice spoke: "Do not drink, do not smoke and do not defile your body in any way, you will have a work to do when you grow older." Frightened, the seven year old boy dropped his buckets and ran to his mother.
As God had done to the prophet Samuel, God again spoke to a child.
A few weeks later, he was playing marbles with his younger brother. A strange feeling came over him. He looked over the Ohio River and saw a beautiful bridge. Sixteen people died falling from the bridge that would span the river. The young prophet had her first vision. He told his mother, who wrote his story. Years later, 16 men died by falling from the bridge of the 2nd Street, Louisville, Kentucky, during construction on the Ohio River.
The Lord gave him visions of the future. And as for the prophets who preceded him, visions never failed.

The Early Years

Throughout his life, Brother Branham aspired to be in wild places. At 18, he left Indiana to western rugged mountains. His stay in Arizona was short-lived as he was forced to return.
One day I decided that I had found a way to get rid of this call: I would go out west to work on a ranch. My friend, God is just as big there as anywhere. May you benefit from my experience. When He calls you, answer Him.
By a
September morning in the year 1927, I told mom that I was going camping at Tunnel Mill, which was located about fourteen miles [twenty-three km] from Jeffersonville, where we lived at the time. I had already made preparations to leave Arizona with some friends. The next news that mom had me, I was not at Tunnel Mill but in Phoenix, Arizona, running away from the God of Love. The ranch life, it was nice for a while, but we get tired quickly, like all other pleasures of this world. However, let me say here: Glory to God, experience with Jesus, it becomes increasingly soft, and will never weary. Jesus always gives perfect peace and consolation.
Many times I heard the wind blow in the tall pines. I seemed to hear His voice calling, far away in the forest, saying, "Adam, where are you?" The stars seemed so close that we could take them with the hand. God seemed to be so close.
Looks like there's something in that area that still has a very special meaning for me, it is the desert roads. If ever you leave the road, it's so easy to get lost. How many times tourists, seeing small desert flowers, out of the road to pick them. They start wandering in the desert
and are lost and sometimes they are dying of thirst. It's the way of the Christian God has a highway. He speaks in Isaiah, chapter 35. It is called the "Road of Holiness." Very often the small pleasures of this world take you off the road. Then you have lost your experience with God. When you're lost in the desert, we sometimes see appear a mirage. For people who are dying of thirst, the mirage, it will be a river or lake. Very often people will start to run after the mirages, they run upon them and find just about to bathe in the warm sand. Sometimes the devil will show you something, he calls a good life. This is only a mirage, something that is not real. If you listen you will find yourself overwhelmed with grief, that's all. Dear reader, do not listen. Believe in Jesus, who gives living water to those who hunger and thirst.
One day I received a letter from home, where they told me that one of my brothers was very ill. It was Edward, the eldest after me. Obviously, as I thought it was not serious, I thought he would recover. But a few days later, one evening when I was returning from the city, passing in the canteen of the ranch, I saw a piece of paper on the table.
I picked it up. It read: "Bill, go to the pasture north. Very important. "After reading the note, I walked to the pasture with a friend. The first person I met, it's an old cowboy from Texas who worked at the ranch. His name was Durfy but for us, He was called "Pop". Face full of sadness, he said, "Billy, my boy, I have bad news for you." At the same time, the foreman arrived. They told me that a telegram had just arrived: my brother was dead.
Friend, for a while, I could not move. It was the first death in our family. But I want to say that the first thing I thought was that I wondered if he was ready to die. I turned around and I walked on my looks all yellow meadow, while the tears rolled down my cheeks. What memories, as we had to fight together when we were children, as it was painful for us.
We went to school with barely enough to eat. Our toes were coming out of our shoes, and we needed our old coats pinned at the neck because we had no shirt. I also remembered the day when, for our dinner, Mom had put us popcorn in a small bucket. We did not eat with other children; we did not afford us the same food as them. We always slip away behind the hill to eat. I remember the day when we had popcorn, for us it was a real treat. Also, to make sure I've had my share, I went out before noon, and I took a good handful before bro has his share. Then, walking my gaze on the meadow parched by the sun, I thought of all these things and wondered if God had taken him away to a better place. Again, God has called me, but, as usual, I tried to resist. I am prepared to go to the funeral. When the church pastor McKinney of Port Fulton, a man who is like a father to me, preached the funeral, he mentioned this: "There may be people here who do not know God, if it is, now is the time to expect him. "Oh, how I clung to my seat! Again, God was dealing with me. Dear reader, when he calls, answer Him.
I will never forget how my poor old dad and my poor old mother cried after the funeral. I wanted to return to the West, but mom begged me so I finally agreed to stay if I could find a job. I did not take long to find a job on behalf of utilities in Indiana.
About two years later, while I was checking counters Workshop counters of gas plant in New Albany, I was intoxicated by the gas, and I felt in me for weeks. I consulted all the doctors I knew. Nothing relieved my suffering. I had heartburn, effects of poisoning gases. My condition got worse still. I was sent to see specialists in Louisville, Kentucky. They concluded that it was my appendix and announced to me that I would have to undergo an operation. I could not believe it, because I never had pain in my side. The doctors said they could do nothing more for me as I would not have had surgery. I have come to accept, but I insisted that they proceed by local anesthetic so I can follow the operation.
Oh, I wanted someone who knew God near me. I believed in prayer but I could not pray. Then the pastor of the First Baptist Church went with me to the operating room.
When they took me to the table to my bed, I felt my strength faltered more and more. My heart barely beating. I felt that death was watching me. My breath was getting shorter and shorter. I knew I had reached the end of my road. Oh, my friend, wait a bit to get there once then you will think of many things that you have made. I knew I had never smoked, drank or had unclean habits but I knew I was not ready to meet my God.
My friend, if you are a cold and formal church member you will know when you reach the end, you're not ready. So if that's all you know about my God, I ask you to kneel down right now and ask Jesus to give you the experience of the New Birth which He spoke to Nicodemus in John chapter 3. And, oh, the bells of joy will chime! Glory to His Name!

The Early Years (following)

It was growing dark in the hospital room, it was like in a dense forest. I could hear the wind blowing in the leaves, but it was as far into the forest. You've probably heard a puff of wind, when it approaches increasingly blowing in the leaves. I said, "Well, this is death coming to get me." Oh! my soul would meet God, I tried to pray but I could not.
The wind approached, with a growing roar. The rustling of leaves - and then, suddenly, I was gone.
It was like I was back as a little boy, barefoot, I was there in the driveway, under this same tree. I heard the same voice that had said. "Do not drink and do not smoke" And the leaves I heard were the same that were rustling in the tree that day.
But this time, the voice said: "I called you and you refused to obey." the voice said it three times.
So I said, "Lord, if it is You, let me go back on earth and I will preach Your Gospel on rooftops and street corners. I'll talk of you to all! "
When the vision disappeared, I found that I'd never felt better. My surgeon was still in the building. He came, looked at me, he was surprised. He looked as if he had expected to find me dead, then he said: "I am not a man who goes to church much, my client is too large for that, but I know God has visited this boy. "Why he said that, I do not know. No one had said a word about it. If I had known then what I know now, I would be lifted out of bed shouting praise to His name. After a few days I was allowed to go home, but I was still sick, and I had to wear glasses because I was suffering from astigmatism. My head was shaking when I fixed something for a moment. I started looking to find God. I went from church to church, I was looking for a place where there would be an altar call in the old style. What is sad is that I could find none. I said that if I ever became a Christian, I would be a real one. A preacher who had heard me make the remark said to me. "Come on, Billy, my boy, here you are in the dark fanaticism" I said that if I ever convert, I wanted to feel the change when it happened, just like the disciples had felt. Oh, glory to His Name. I converted some time later, and I still am, and with His help, I always will be.
One night, I was so hungry for God and a real experience that I went into the old shed behind the house, and tried to pray. At this time I did not know how to pray, so I just spoke to him as I would have spoken to anyone else. Suddenly a light came into the hangar, it formed a cross, and the voice that came out of this cross spoke to me in a language I did not understand. Then she disappeared. I was fascinated. When I regained my senses, I prayed, "Lord, if it is You, I beg You, come talk to me." Since I was home from the hospital, I was reading my Bible and I had read in John 4: "beloved, believe not every spirit, but test them, whether they are of God."
I knew that a spirit had appeared to me and, while I was praying, he reappeared. Then it was as if my soul had been discharged weighing a thousand pounds. With one bound I got up and ran towards the house; I felt like I was running without touching land.
Mom asked me: "Bill, what happened to you?" I replied: "I do not know, but anyway, I really feel lighter." I could not stay in home longer. I had to run so.
At that moment I knew that if God wanted me to preach, He would heal me, so I went to a church where the anointing oil was believed, and I was healed instantly. Then I saw that the disciples had something that most preachers do not have today. The disciples were baptized with the Holy Spirit, and that's why they could heal the sick and perform great miracles in His name. So I began to pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and I received it. One day about six months later God gave me what my heart desired. He spoke to me in a great light, he told me to go preach and to pray for the sick and He would heal them regardless of their disease. I started preaching and doing what He tells me to do. Oh, my friend, I could not begin to tell you what happened: The blind eyes were opened, the lame walked, cancers have been healed, and miracles of all kinds has been made.
One day after the Spring Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana, after a series of revival meetings during two weeks, I baptized 130 people. It was a hot August day, and about 3,000 people attended. I was going to baptize the 17th person when, suddenly, I heard again the still, small voice; she said: "Look up." On this hot August day, the sky was brazen. There were maybe three weeks we had not had rain. I heard the voice again, and yet a third time, saying: ". Look up"
I looked up, and a large bright star - I had already seen it many times, but I have not spoken to you - arrived from the sky. Many times I have spoken to people of this star that appeared, and they were setled for laugh, saying, "Bill, you do not imagine that. Or maybe you were dreaming. "But, praise God, this time He Had shown visibly to all, because it came so close to me that I could not even speak. After a few seconds I screamed and many people looked and saw the star, which was just above me. Some were black out, while others began to scream and others fled. Then the star is distributed in the sky; the place from which it had come was about fifteen square feet [1.40 m 2], and in that place could be seen as a continual movement of tub or resembling the billowing waves. A small white cloud had formed there, and the star went into that little cloud.
Like John the Baptist, the prophetwas confirmed inthe waters of baptism.

THE VISITATION OF AN ANGEL
The visions continued. His colleagues in the ministry told him that his visions were not from God. They told him that he was possessed by an evil spirit. This has deeply troubled him. The burden became too much to bear, he then left in a wild place to seek God's will. This took him so much to heart that he had sworn he would not return until he had received no response. This happened in an old trapper's cabin, where an angel of the Lord gave him his commission. The angel told him include: "If you bring people to believe you and that you are sincere when you pray, nothing shall stand before your prayers, not even cancer."
All doubts were gone. Now he had a commission, and he went ahead with insurance. The healing revival had begun.
Hundreds of thousands of people attended the Branham campaigns. Thousands were healed in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Other evangelists such as Oral Roberts, TL Osborn and AA Allen soon followed Brother Branham and started their own healing revival campaigns. The Lord has showered His blessings as never before. The healing touch of Jesus Christ was once again touched His people.
"I have often wept for joy, thinking of the gift God has made recently to the Church, in the person of our beloved brother, William Branham, with his extraordinary gift of healing. An example of a situation in which God has done exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20); Indeed, from all I have seen and read, nothing can match the healing ministry of William Branham. "
Rev. FF Bosworth, world renowned evangelist, one of the founding fathers of the denomination Assemblies of God and also the modern Pentecostal movement.
"Once we see him talking to a man lying on a stretcher. First, the man shows no signs of sensible answer. The explanation comes from his wife, who stands at his side: not only this man is dying of cancer, but it is also deaf and can not hear what is said.
Branham said as he must first find that man hearing, so he can then give instructions for the healing of his cancer. After a moment of prayer, the man hears! Tears roll down her cheeks, while her face remained expressionless and fixed throughout the evening. Very interested, listens Branham will explain how to achieve his deliverance from cancer. "
Rev. Gordon Lindsay, accomplished author, preacher and founder of the Institute of Christ to the nations.
"Brother Branham said," The congressman is healed. 'My heart jumped. I did not and accepted the Lord as my healer. I filed my crutches ... and the heavens opened locks! "
William D. Upshaw, US Congressman (1919-1927), candidate for the US presidency in 1932. Crippled since childhood, following a fall that broke his back. He was eighty-four years old when he was completely healed by the prayer of Brother Branham. He was crippled for sixty-six. He did not need a wheelchair or crutches for the rest of his life.
"I was bedridden for eight years and nine months, I was suffering from tuberculosis, and was condemned by doctors. I weighed only 50 pounds [23 kilos], all hope seemed gone. So, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Brother William Branham arrived, following a vision he had of a lamb that was trapped in the wilderness and proclaiming: 'Milltown' (this is where I live). Branham had never been here and he did not know anyone here either. On entering, he laid his hands, and prayed over me by invoking the name of our dear Lord Jesus. It is as if something had come over me, and with one bound I got up, giving thanks to God for His healing power. I am now the pianist of the Baptist church here. "
Georgie Carter, Milltown, Indiana, was cured in 1940 of tuberculosis terminal. She has not suffered a single day from the disease. It represents tens of thousands of people who were healed through the ministry of Brother Branham and still healed today.

THE PILAR OF FIRE

Branham often describes a Pillar of Fire, which confirmed his ministry. it was present at his birth, it was seen by thousands of people on the shore of the Ohio River, and it seemed to follow him wherever he went. It was in 1950 that the Lord has given to believers and unbelievers, the infallible proof that this Pillar of Fire was with the prophet.
The evening at the stadium Sam Houston was surrounded by controversy. Branham was driving a healing revival campaign that swept the country. The blessings of the Lord Jesus poured out like rain on spiritual wheat fields. But the great signs and wonders did not come without criticism. As always, the enemy has sparked an adversary. The two forces met in Houston, Texas, and the Angel of the Lord Himself descended to fight.
Thousands of people were present to witness the countless miracles that followed this man of God. The day before, a group of local pastors invited the Prophet to the challenge of participating in a debate about Divine healing. This is the Rev. FF Bosworth, longtime companion of the Prophet, who was keen to meet this challenge. The many skeptics were represented by a local Baptist minister who were strongly opposed to Divine healing. There have been leaks in the press about the debate that would take place, and newspapers quickly made their headlines: ". Gang Fight theological tonight at 19 pm at the stadium Sam Houston"
The skeptic hired Ted Kipperman, a professional photographer Douglas Studios, to cover the debate. That night, photos were taken of Brother Bosworth standing modestly standing as the skeptic posed by taking intimidating attitudes, like to point an accusing finger at the older man.
When the debate began, Brother Bosworth showed quickly authenticity of healing through biblical evidence, and then to cut short the controversy, he asked everyone who had been healed of their infirmities to rise. Thousands of people stood up.
He had them sit down and then asked everyone who had been healed by Divine healing and were recognized members of the name of this man, to please stand. Three hundred church members stood up proudly to show the mercy of the Lord Jesus to them.
That's when the skeptic issue this challenge: "Let this Divine healer advance. It happens. "Brother Bosworth held to clarify that the only Divine Healer, it was Jesus, but the skeptic shouted louder. Finally, Brother Bosworth invited Brother Branham to come on stage. He accepted the invitation amid shouts of support.

THE PROPHET, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES THE FOLLOWING REPLY

I can not heal anyone. Here's what I can say. When I was born in the state of Kentucky, that I was a baby, according to my dear mother and as has been confirmed throughout my life, there is a Light that came there in the room of this small shelter where I was. No floor, there was not even a window, just a small thing as a window, a type of component they opened about five o'clock in the morning, and that light came in circles, then that day was breaking. Since that time, she accompanied me. It is an angel of God. He met me in person a few years ago. Throughout my life, He told me things that have happened, and I say just as He has said to me. And I challenge anyone, anywhere, to go to the city where I grew up, or anywhere else, and tell me a single statement in the name of the Lord which shall not be performed exactly as advertised.
After these words, the Holy Spirit descended on the platform; excited, the photographer took a picture. Branham, leaving the stage, made this simple but prophetic statement: "God will testify. I will not add nothing. "

The partner of Mr. Kipperman quickly put to work; he developed the photos to make them look in the news of the morning. He noticed something strange when he took the first photo from the developer bath. This photo, like the following five, was white. He nearly fainted by removing the last picture of the solution. There on that last photograph, was the Pillar of Fire in a visible form, hanging over the head of God's prophet, William Marrion Branham. The Israelites witnessed the Pillar of Fire that led Moses and today people have witnessed this same Pillar of Fire that led another prophet.
The photo was quickly forwarded to George J. Lacy, professional examiner questioned documents for the American FBI, who, as an expert, confirmed the authenticity of the photo. The official document provided by Mr. Lacy is on the next page. This happened long before computers or digital cameras exist, and no known method of science could not explain it other than to say that a real Light was found above the head of William Branham. Today we can see this same photograph to the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, the capital.

THE MISTERIES REVEALED
Early in the ministry of Brother Branham, it was clear that the denominational system was created to promote religious organizations and not the true gospel. Branham believed every word of the Bible and did not want to compromise, even if it meant being rejected by his colleagues, friends or family.
While He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, They asked him to ordain women preachers. But he very knew the Scriptures to do it. I Timothy 2:12 says clearly: "I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence ", and I Corinthians 14:34 says:". Let women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak "It was not directed against women, but this was written in black and white in the Bible. At the time of the ultimatum he could not compromise, so he left the church.
It was not the only scripture whose denomination took not into account. The Lord revealed to Brother Branham truth about baptism. How did Jesus order: "Go, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost" while all baptisms recorded in the Bible were made in the name Jesus? In Acts 2:38, the apostle Peter ordonned to repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures agree perfectly, but it took a prophet to reveal this secret "Father" is not a name, "Son" is not a name and "Holy Spirit" is not a name. A man is the father of her children, the son of his parents and brother to his siblings, yet it is not called "father," "son" and "brother". Father, Son and Holy Ghost are titles that relate to the name, Jesus Christ. There is perfect harmony between Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:38.
Even the original sin in the Garden of Eden was revealed: it was not eating a fruit, it was something much more serious. How eating fruit could be immediately reveal to Adam and Eve that they were naked? It does not mean anything. What connection is there between an apple and being naked? The prophet of God has clearly revealed the secret.
Who were the angels spoken of in Apocalypse 2 and 3? Their names might be familiar.
Who are the mysterious horsemen of Apocalypse 6? They share something very important.
Are the United States mentioned in the Book of the Apocalypse?
Who are the 144,000 who are saved, in chapter 7?
Which is the great prostitute of Chapter 17? Her identity and all these secrets were revealed in the Message of this mighty prophet sent from God.
Not only countless miracles have followed this man, but the mysteries hidden in the Bible over the ages were also revealed in his ministry. It was clear that this prophet fulfilled more Scriptures than Malachi 4.
10.7 Apocalypse: But the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he announced to his servants the prophets.
A voice cries now to people around the world to come out of denominations and return to the original Word of God. Each of us has the same opportunity as Peter, John and Jacques at their time. We have the opportunity to be counted among the small number of those whom God has chosen, who refused to bow to the religious organizations of the day.
The Scriptures relate the life and action of men who walked with God and were so anointed with His Spirit that they have said thus saith the Lord, and their words were confirmed by infallible signs and wonders. They were the prophets of God and the Voice of God to their generation.
Is the time now different from what they were when Jesus was here? These are the religious leaders who crucified Him. The disciples were a tiny minority in the midst of a huge religious system. They were rejected, ridiculed and finally killed for taking a stand against the traditional denominational system. Today, it is perhaps not put us to death because of our beliefs, but we are persecuted. As in the days of the Pharisees and Sadducees, people today can not deny the miracles that followed the ministry of Brother Branham, so they resort to other attacks. Perhaps you'll hear that it was a false prophet, the leader of a sect, or worse. In reality, he was a humble man of God, which is strongly opposed to the rigid control that denominations and sects exert on the people of God. When Jesus objected to their dogmas and traditions, they attacked him the same way.
Branham believed every word of the Bible, and God honored this by using his ministry to lead millions of souls to Jesus Christ. Today, the Seventh Angel Voice sounds louder than ever. Some two million people around the world believe the Message of Brother Branham. This may be a tiny minority compared to two billion people who claim to be Christians, but Did not the people of God always been a minority?
We have over 1,200 sermons recorded in which is heard the Voice whose coming was prophesied in Apocalypse 10.7. Each of these sermons reveal other mysteries of God. If you want to hear that voice, records are available.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS

At no time I bring a message to people to get them to follow me or to attach to my church, or start a group, organization. I have never done this, and I will not do it now. I have no interest in these things. I have, however, an interest in the things of God and for people, and I will be happy if I can do one thing. This thing is to see established a true spiritual relationship between God and men, in which men become new creatures in Christ, filled with His Spirit and live according to His Word. I extend an invitation to all, a call and a warning to you to hear His voice even now, and you give up your life to Him completely, as I am sure to have abandoned Him everything I have. God bless you, and His coming rejoice your heart.

Rev. William M. Branham.
